Now that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have officially patched up and are friends again (Karan-Arjun aa gaye!), looks like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are set to go down the same road. Buzz is that the two are ready to bury the hatchet and we might just see a reunion here as well. For those of you who don’t know, there was a time when Kat and DP were close, but then the catfights started and the closeness went down the drain.
Although pally at first, Katrina and Deepika started avoiding each other and a lot of bad blood crept in. Reasons? DP’s history with Ranbir and the obvious professional rivalry. Now that both have realised that they’re in a happy space (and have also moved on for good), the duo might become friends again (at least friends, if not BFFs).
Although no official announcements have been made, word is that the trailer of Tamasha (starring Deepika and Ranbir) has been attached to Kabir Khan’s Saif Ali Khan and Katrina starrer Phantom (see how this is working?).
So, if the two ladies do not have a problem with being a part of each others’ films, in whatever way, we can safely say that the rivalry is slowly slipping away, no?
This is how it started with Salman and SRK. First tiny words of niceness, then promoting each others’ films and now a full blown reunion (we’re hearing rumours of a YRF project where the megastars will share screen space).
When all is well in Bollywood land, maybe we would see Salman, Shah Rukh, Katrina and Deepika all in one film. Wouldn’t that be awesome!?
