Can Aamir Khan Salvage Nephew Imran’s Career?
Rumour has it that the not-so-happening (box-office, wise) Imran Khan is iffy about the prospect of his upcoming film, Katti Batti. Imran, who hasn’t had a hit in a long time, apparently convinced director Nikhil Advani to get Aamir’s advice on the film. Ergo, a special screening was held for Aamir and wife Kiran Rao to get their opinion. After a series of flops, Imran does not want to take any chances and is getting Aamir involved in all major decisions vis-à-vis Katti Batti – from post- production to marketing. And, Mamu Aamir is happy doing what he does best – helping beloved nephew Imran with his career.
Nawaz Starrer Manjhi’s Profit To Be Donated
Director Ketan Mehta has decided to donate a share of profits generated from Manjhi to Dashrath Manjhi’s (the film’s real hero) village in Bihar. According to the director, the trailer received an overwhelming response. The film, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte, is set to release on August 21.

BC reported about the pairing of Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor yesterday. Here’s another update: Arjun tweeted a sneak peek into this R Balki film. Amitabh Bachchan who has starred in all three of Balki’s films will have a special appearance in this one.
