Yes, the sexy siren got hurt while she was shooting in Mumbai for her next film

Sunny Leone and Karishma Tanna will be seen together in Devang Dholakia’s Tina and Lolo . Since its an out-an-out action flick, Sunny and Karishma were required to do some high octane action sequences. In one of the scenes, the two B-town beauties had to jump over a car onto a bunch of baddies. It was during the shoot of this stunt that Sunny bruised her ribs. The crew members quickly took the Jism 2 actor inside her vanity van and later even a doctor dropped by to check upon her condition. While the adult actor’s injury wasn’t so serious, the babe was asked to rest for few days.

But instead of taking it slow, Sunny continued shooting. “It was unfortunate that Sunny got hurt as utmost care is taken with both the girls safety while they are doing action scenes, we all are glad that she wasn’t hurt badly and admire her professionalism. Both girls insist on doing their own stunts and so we take extra precautions with them.” said director Devang Dholakia about the whole incident.

While the Laila tere le le gi item girl has a long way to go in Bollywood, we are certainly impressed with her professional attitude.

Bigg Boss 7 diaries day 57: Tanishaa Mukherji teaches VJ Andy how to play the game

It’s a new day in Bigg Boss 7 house and everybody is trying their best to survive amidst a tense atmosphere filled with arguments and quarrels

To start off, Armaan Kohli has promised that he will refrain from getting into a fight with any of the housemates, he is seen trying out new things to keep himself calm and composed. Further solidifying his thought, he decides to take yoga lessons from Sangram Singh for the sanity of his mind.

Gauahar Khan’s ‘wait’ issues

Simultaneously, Gauahar is seen sitting quietly in a corner and sobbing while caressing Heaven. She tries to hide her thoughts and prefers not to talk to anybody. Sofia and Andy are meanwhile discussing Kushal’s entry in the house again where Andy tells Sofia that he is scared with the thought of Kushal coming back and will never support this decision. He also adds that Kushal should apologize to him first and should feel guilty about whatever he has done in the past.

Nominations ki prakriya

Further, Bigg Boss makes an announcement regarding the nominations procedure and asks all the housemates to give two names they would want to nominate in the confession room. Kamya being nominated by Candy is already on the list while Elli being the captain is safe from nominations, is given the special power to nominate one contestant from the rest of the inmates. Tanishaa and Armaan notice Gauahar’s indifferent behaviour and are seen discussing about it. Armaan tells Tanisha that she is disturbed owing to Kushal’s absence and will get back to normal once he comes back.

Ajaz Khan tries to make Gauahar happy

Ajaz and Gauahar are seen spending some time together where he is trying his best to make Gauahar laugh and pull her out of her depression. He tries all kinds of antics and finally manages to bring a smile on Gauahar’s face

Tanishaa teaches Vj Andy how to play the game

Further, Bigg Boss announces a task for Ellie and Sangram, where they are asked to bathe Heaven and dress him up in funky clothes. At the same time, Andy and Tanisha are discussing about Gauahar and her behaviour with the housemates. Tanisha advices Andy to befriend Gauahar like before and clear all the misunderstandings that will help him continue in the game.

Sofia Hayat goes on a speed date with all the men of the house

In the evening, Bigg Boss calls Sofia in the confession room where she finds all her new clothes and footwear displayed on the table. Sofia starts jumping with joy when Bigg Boss interrupts her and gives her a secret task in order to win all her things. Bigg boss asks her to go on a speed date with all the men of the house including Armaan, Andy, Ajaz and Sangram but she has to drive away any two of them in order to win. While Sofia is seated in the garden area, Andy is the first one to make an attempt to impress Sofia. He gets her chocolate and impresses her with his humour and courteous behaviour. Sangram is the next one to try his luck but Sofia is successful in knocking him down by being rude with him. Further, Armaan steps in and impresses Sofia by being a gentleman. Sofia tries her best to shrug him away but is unsuccessful in doing so. In the end, Ajaz tries his luck but gets petrified by Sofia’s irate behaviour and runs away. At the end of the task, Bigg Boss asks Sofia to announce the name of the winner and also tells them about the secret task that Sofia was assigned with. Sofia chooses Andy as the winner and walks away with all her goodies.

War of words between Pratyusha and Ajaz

As the day comes to an end, Ajaz is seen passing comments over Pratyusha being the youngest member of the house which irks her. While he is trying to have a conversation with her, she completely ignores him and walks away. After Ajaz asks her the reason, she tells him that he has no right to make any personal comments or poke fun at her. Pratyusha goes crying to Andy and tells him that she does not like the way the housemates are behaving with her. At midnight, Kamya is seen advising Ajaz and Andy regarding their behaviour with Pratyusha and asks them take her more seriously rather than poking fun at her.

Bigg Boss 7: Ajaz Khan’s strip show offends Tanishaa Mukerji

While a topless Salman Khan makes girls go weak in the knees, Ajaz’s shirtless act failed to draw a similar reaction from his female housemates

The Bigg Boss house doesn’t cease to surprise. After Bigg Boss’ Rajneeti task, the housemates are clearly a divided lot and can’t wait to take each other down. While the two groups were busy discussing the opposition’s strategy, another drama unfolded in the bathroom area of the house when new entrant Ajaz Khan offended Tanishaa Mukerji by taking off his shirt in her presence.

The Mukerji gal loses her cool at Ajaz’s ‘indecent’ act and storms out of the area to complain about Ajaz’s disrespectful beahviour to captain Elli Avram. While Elli tries to resolve the conflict with the help of Sangram, Tanishaa’s good friend on the show, Armaan, overhears the incident and asks Elli to put forth the issue in front of Bigg Boss.

Even as the housemates are busy exchanging opinions on Ajaz’s behaviour, he repeats his antics in front of Sofia who gives him a piece of her mind and asks him to behave himself in front of girls. Pratyusha later advises Ajaz not to get instigated by other people and asks him to behave like a gentleman. Ajaz sees reason and apologises to Sofia for his behaviour. However, as it happens in the Bigg Boss house, the apology was also followed by spat between the two where each held on to their ends.

Once the issue dies down, Bigg Boss calls Sangram into the confession room for a lie detector test and secretly tells the housemates to decide whether Sangram is speaking the truth or not. Bigg Boss throws a volley of questions at an unsuspecting Sangram while the housemates judge his answers as sach or jhooth.

At the end of the Q&A session, Bigg Boss tells Sangram that his answers were being judged by none other than his own housemates. Sangram steps out of the confession room to face an angry Gauahar, who is upset because he did not support her decision to come back on the show. To make matters worse, Sofia jumps into the conversation and calls Gauahar a liar for saying that evicted contestant Asif Azeem made passes at her.

After a day full of drama and politics in the house, Bigg Boss surprises every body with messages from their family and friends through We Chat. While Andy and Kamya get video messages from their families, Pratyusha gets a voice message from her parents and Sangram couldn’t stop blushing after a video message from his girlfriend and actress Payal Rohatgi. Even the usually aggressive Armaan breaks down on hearing his mother’s voice.

The day that started with a lot of fireworks ends on a peaceful note. However, it’s just a matter of time before the Bigg Boss house finds another controversy to thrive on.

Bigg Boss 7: Are Kajol and Tanuja still miffed with Tanishaa Mukherji?

It seems that Tanishaa’s family is unhappy with her antics inside the glass walled ghar

It’s no news that Kajol and Tanuja who happen to be Tanishaa Mukherji’s sister and mother respectively were not happy with her idea of taking part in India’s one of the most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss. Though sources close to the Mukherji family denied all these reports then, but looking at the recent situations, we are pretty much sure that all is definitely not well between Tanishaa and her family. Why do we say, you ask?

In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 7, the homesick housemates were treated with a message or gifts from their family members. But Tanishaa was in for a rude shock as she neither received gifts nor any messages from her loved ones.

“The production team started approaching family members of the contestants to give some kind of gift or message for their family members inside the house. Tanishaa’s family, however, did not get back with anything. Tanishaa’s mother Tanuja and her sister Kajol apparently ignored the production house’s request and choose not to respond. So Tanishaa did not receive anything in the special episode. She was upset but she preferred not to display any emotion in front of the cameras,” said a crew member from the production house to a tabloid.

On the other hand, Kajol’s spokesperson had a different story to say. The spokesperson revealed that show makers didn’t contact their family for any gifts.

Looks like Tanishaa’s behaviour inside the house has made her family very unhappy. All we can say is that, tamashaaa won’t be over for Tanishaa even after she comes out of the Bigg Boss house. Poor gal.

Salman Khan has had enough negative publicity thanks to Bigg Boss 7 . First the star was accused of being biased towards friends Tanishaa Mukherji and Armaan Kohli, then came Kushal Tandon’s ouster that got him extra flak, his behaviour with Gauahar Khan too isn’t really making his fans very happy and his fondness for Elli Avram has also raised many eyebrows. The 47-year-old actor, who interacts regularly with his fans on the social networking site, vented out his displeasure on people accusing him of being an ‘unfair’ host. The actor was subjected to severe criticism from fans on Twitter. However, looks like the star has had enough of this, for he tweeted, “BB fans who don’t like saturday n sunday episodes, plz don’t waste your time sure u have v imp things to do. Elections coming up do vote. seriously if u don’t like plz don’t watch, even if 1 family member does not like it the rest shld respect that n change the channel.”

Bigg Boss 7: Gauahar Khan heart-broken, still waiting for Kushal Tandon to return to the house

Gauahar is still hopeful that Kushal will enter the house again

Since the day Gauahar Khan has re-entered the Bigg Boss 7 house, she has been waiting for her ‘good friend’ Kushal Tandon to come back after his abrupt dismissal from the house. But the clock seems to be endlessly ticking away and the wait doesn’t seem to end for her. After Salman Khan raised the topic about Kushal’s return and asked for everybody’s opinion, Gauahar has been expecting his return and was found staying aloof most of the time.

In today’s episode of Bigg Boss 7, she will find solace in Heaven – the dog, and will share her feelings with him. However, she wouldn’t be able to hold back her tears while talking to him. She will be seen staring at the door with the hope that Kushal would enter sometime soon. There have been several instances where Gauahar was found sobbing out of depression but none of the housemates seemed to have noticed. To add to her problems, Elli, who has been quite close to her since the beginning, will decide to nominate her by using her special power. This will not go down well with Gauahar who had always trusted Elli and did stand up for her when she was in trouble.

With things not going the way she would expect, will Gauahar she able to survive in the Bigg Boss House? Only time will tell…

We just heard the very popular and even more funny actor-comedian who plays Gutthi from Comedy Nights with Kapil will soon be leaving the prime time laughathon. Yes, according to a little birdie who flew straight to our office from the western suburbs of Mumbai city, Sunil Grover and K9-SOL Productions, who make the much-loved show, will soon part ways. And it’s all about payment. With his fast-increasing popularity, Sunil decided to hike his fee. And he firmly believed that he would get what he demanded, which is what he feels he deserves. But no, nahin, nada, no go. The production house and the channel did not agree with him and that is why he has stopped shooting for the show, our khabroo insists. Will he come back to Comedy Nights with Kapil ? Unlikely, we thinks, not unless he gets what he wants.

And perhaps Sunil is entitled to his demands and an increased remuneration. After all, wherever Gutthi goes, giggles follow, hai na? Also, we hear that the bada pardah is calling him loud and clear. So will he follow in the footsteps of his partner, Kiku Sharda, who has also dipped his toes in the world of movies? We wait to find out…

A little birdie tells us that Shahid Kapoor’s father, Pankaj Kapur has been frequently visiting Punjab. A source close to the family says that these trips weren’t just for leisure but papa Pankaj Kapur is apparently on a bride hunt for his son, Shahid. The source says, “Pankaj is really concerned. He is keen to find a nice homely girl for his son and wants to see him settled in a year’s time.”

Hmmm… What more! Pankaj admits making frequent trips to Punjab, but adds that these trips have been for ‘other reasons.’ Though he didn’t admit he’s looking out for a bahu, he says, “It is very normal for a father to want to see his son settled. I want the same for Shahid. However, I am not actively looking out for a match for him. I will whole-heartedly support his choice of a partner.”

Our birdie chirps in, “Shahid is extremely progressive, and is on a lookout for a life partner who compliments him well. It is possible that it could be a match picked by his father since he trusts his father’s judgement more than anybody else’s.” Does that include his own judgment, we wonder.

Earlier, Shahid was in a relationship with Kareena Kapoor (now Khan) and was reportedly dating Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra. However, his love life seems to be jinxed and he’s only had failed relationships. We wonder if the past break-ups affect our chocolate boy in the present and that’s why he’d rather settle in with an arranged marriage. Anyways, we hope Sasha’s luck favours him (for once) and helps him find a good bride. Fingers crossed!

Bombay High Court annuls case against Govinda!

The actor finally gets relief from HC in 2008 slap case

In 2008, Santosh Rai had filed a complaint against Govinda accusing the actor of slapping and intimidating him. Justice M L Tahaliyani nullified the private complaint lodged by Rai before a metropolitan magistrate as there is no material against Govinda for criminal intimidation.

In February 2009, Rai had filed the complaint against Govinda under sections 323(Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach) and 506 (1) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. The complaint was filed pursuant to the actor slapping Rai, a visitor on his film sets, on January 16, 2008.

Govinda had approached the High Court seeking to quash the proceedings initiated against him by the magistrate court. The High Court took note of a police report which states that the incident did not occur in the manner stated by Rai. The court said, “No doubt some incident had occurred. However, there is no material to prove criminal intimidation. It appears that the complainant was instigated to file the complaint after a year.”

Justice Tahaliyani said, “ It further observed that the accused had not acted in any manner which caused alarm to the complainant. “Such a prosecution cannot be allowed to continue and it deserves to be quashed.”

Unlike Nagada, Ram chahe leela and Lahu munh lag gaya, this song is pretty slow but that has only helped in making DP and Ranveer’s chemistry more passionate. But we do love to see the oh-so-hot romance between SLB’s onscreen Ram and Leela, after all that’s the crux of the film, no?

It was an honour to meet Robert De Niro, says Amitabh Bachchan

Big B recently met Hollywood superstar Robert De Niro and since then the Satyagraha actor cannot stop raving about his special meeting

Amitabh Bachchan recently caught up with Oscar winning actor Robert De Niro at THiNK fest Goa and he says it was an absolute delight and an honour to spend time with the Hollywood veteran star. Talking about his experience, Mr Bachchan wrote on his blog, “A relaxed Robert De Niro of so many distinguished films and characters that he played in his illustrious career, and still continues to do so, simple and down to earth, accommodating and friendly… A joy and honor to meet him and spend some time with him privately…”

Mr De Niro attended Big B’s session where the Shehenshah of Bollywood spoke about his journey. Later, the two acting legends met and chatted for a while.

Farhan Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Shekhar Kapur were the other B-town celebrity speakers at the THiNK fest Goa. And Amitabh Bachchan got together them as well and had a great time. He further posted on his blog “There are many from the fraternity that attend too and it is then that we spend time later in happy banter with local dear friends to laugh to discuss, to sing and listen to sonorous thoughts in poetry and verse of both languages…”

We are sure THiNK fest Goa turned out to be rather memorable for Amitabh Bcahchan. Right Bollywoodlifers?

The Dhoom:3 title track will be launched before Tendulkar hangs up his boots in Mumbai

Superstar Aamir Khan and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar share a great rapport. So we are glad that while the whole world is reeling under the shock of his retirement, good friend Aamir rather decided to celebrate Sachin’s glorious career spanning over two decades. Hence the P.K. actor has dedicated the title song of his next action-thriller Dhoom:3 to the Indian legend. While talking to a leading daily, Aamir said, “Through his entire career, he has created ripples with every step, on every pitch, in every cricketing country, in every bowler’s nightmare, in our hearts, in every cricket field across the world, and in the heart of every cricket fan across the world. And so, very appropriately and humbly, we dedicate our song, ‘Dhoom Machaley‘… to the genius! Love you always. Your fan… Aamir”

Tendulkar, who will play his 200th Test match against the West Indies in his hometown Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium next week, certainly created dhoom every time he walked out on the field. So wethinks the dedication is apt and we also hope he creates the same magic when he steps out to play for the last time.

Will Deepika Padukone risk her dosti with Shahrukh Khan to work with Salman Khan?

It’s a well known fact that Dippy shares a special bond with the King Khan. But at the same time, the dimpled actor also wants to work with Salman, she says. That wish could soon come true…

The rivalry between Shahrukh Khan and Salman’s Khan is a known fact. But Ram-Leela star Deepika Padukone isn’t affected by the stormy equation between the Khans, or so it seems. We hear that Ms Padukone will star opposite the bhai of Bollywood in Sooraj Barjatya’s next, titled Bade Bhaiya. While there has been no official confirmation about the leading lady for this one, we certainly hope that DP bags the role. After all, it would be maha interesting to see this hatke jodi on the big screen, never mind that she is so much taller and younger than he is – SRK was also that way and Chennai Express did fabulously well, remember? And both Dippy and Sallu have a recently dhamaakedar box office record, so the makers of anything they do together don’t have to worry about minting money, hai na?

But we wonder what will happen to the pukka SRK-Deepika friendship. Nothing, we guess. Hasn’t Katrina Kaif worked with both the superstars and maintained a good rapport with each of them? Even Kareena Kapoor Khan has managed to do the same. If they can, we don’t see any reason why Deepika can’t. After all, the Cocktail babe shares great bond with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor even with rumoured current interest Ranveer Singh lurking in the background, so a balancing act shouldn’t be a problem for our fave heroine!

Krrish 3 box office collection: Hrithik Roshan’s film beats five-day record of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express!

After Chennai Express broke all records and re-wrote box office history, it looked as if the film would retain its position for a while. But Duggu’s superhero film has already surpassed SRK’s romcom in the numbers game…

The Roshans must be happy – their decision to release Krrish 3 in the pre-Diwali period has paid off…and how! Going by the box office collection of Krrish 3, we are sure the father-son duo isn’t regretting the move at all. In its opening weekend, the Hrithik Roshan-Priyanka Chopra-Kangna Ranaut-Vivek Oberoi starrer grossed Rs 72.8 cr nett and its five day collections reached approximately Rs 134.87 cr on Tuesday. This means that papa Roshan’s sci-fi thriller has broken the five-day record of the Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express, directed by Rohit Shetty, which minted Rs 124.54 crore in the same period. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adrash tweeted, “”It’s a rocking Tuesday! #Krrish3 is on a record-smashing spree. Collects ₹ 26.26 cr. Total: ₹ 134.87 cr. AWESOME.”

While collections generally tend to drop during weekdays, Krrish 3 seems to be going strong, right through the week. The scriptwriter of the superhero film Sanjay Masoom tweeted, “Krrish 3 thu collection 3.44,total 7 days collection 166.42 cr. overseas 7 day total 36 cr. total worldwide more than”.

If Krrish 3 continues its terrific run on the box office fast track, it may well become the highest grossing Hindi film ever, leaving Chennai Express chugging along far behind.

Satya 2 quick review: Definitely not a sequel to Satya!

Our critic reports that the movie makes an impact, but fails to impress with actors who cannot support the script

We were eagerly waiting for this one, hoping that maverick director Ram Gopal Varma had regained his form at last. But, as our movie critic reports from the theatre, “Ram Gopal Varma’s Satya 2 is not a sequel to the successful and now cult underworld movie Satya. In fact, it does not even stand anywhere even close to the classic. The movie starts with RGV’s narration of what the underworld is and how its face has changed over the years. Taking you down Mumbai’s dirty, potholed roles, the lead actors have tried their best to look the part, but fail.

The only motivation to watch Satya 2 is its tight storyline, which manages to keep the audience interested. Character sketches are impactful and we’re sure that if there were better actors playing the parts, the movie would be almost at par with Satya. The movie unfolds with the lead coming to Mumbai with the sole intention of becoming the king of the city. The movie is overflowing with ear-shattering gaalis of every kind. Mix it with extremely violent scenes and you cringe in your seat.”

Bebo and Imran are fed up with their parents ‘coz they are absolutely crazy and dramatic. And believe us, it hilarious to watch them converse…

In the new dialogue promo of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein , you get to meet Kareena Kapoor Khan (Dia) and Imran Khan’s (Sriram) parents. Kareena’s mother is desperate to find a good guy for her daughter and doesn’t care about the situation. That’s the reason she asks Bebo to check out guys at a funeral meeting. If this isn’t crazy then what is, hai na? On the other hand, Imran isn’t seedha-sadha type chokra and his father knows it very well. When his aunt dies, Imran’s father asks him to turn up at the prayer meeting. But he doesn’t and then his onscreen daddy dearest mouths some emotional atyachaar wala dialogues, like most parents do. Saif Ali Khan’s Begum and his co-star’s expression are to watch out for.

Going by the dialogue promo, wethinks this film is a perfect masala entertainer with some dhansoo comic punches. Watch the video and tell us if you agree with us or not!

Jai Ho – documentary on A R Rahman fails to find a distributor

National Award winning filmmaker Umesh Aggarwal has made a documentary on the musical maestro titled Jai Ho but the film has not found a distributor as yet

Jai Ho, which showcases A R Rahman’s personal and professional journey, is headed to the Film Bazaar at NFDC. And Umesh Aggarwal is hoping that his documentary will find a global distributor at the event. But It’s sad that Jai Ho hasn’t found any takers ‘coz the Oscar winner music composer has made his mark internationally and is well known in the West as well. Though we hear Discovery channel has shown interest in airing the documentary.

While talking to a leading daily about the documentary, Umesh said, “We went to his school and spoke to his then principal, who has now become the Dean of the institute. Rahman was the most popular kid at cultural events. In fact, at the age of seven, he performed for Doordarshan and played four keyboards simultaneously.” In fact, Danny Boyle, Mani Ratnam and Subhash Ghai have also spoken about their friend Rahman in the film.

The documentary also shows the composer working on his music for his ambitious project with Steven Spielberg. Capturing the genius in his Los Angeles studio was possible only after Umesh Aggarwal got permission from A R Rahman himself.

Now this is one documentary which no one cannot afford to miss, wethinks. So we hope Jai Ho finds a distributor asap. Fingers crossed!
