Wide spread rumours state that Kannada star Sudeep is all set to play Illaya Thalapathy Vijay’s guru in the Thuppakki star’s 58th film
Things are looking bright and exciting for Tamil superstar Vijay. It is a well known fact that the actor had collaborated with ace director AR Murugadoss after the duo’s successful last outing Thuppakki. The latest buzz in the town is that Illaya Thalapathy Vijay’s 58th film will be directed by super talented Chimbu Devan of Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi fame.
The little birdie tells us that the Kannada superstar has been roped in to play the role of Vijay’s guru in the Chimbu Devan fantasy flick. The rumours are rife that the movie is about a war between a mentor and his disciple played by Sudeep and Vijay respectively. Sudeep riding high on Kannada film Maanikya‘s success seems to be showing keen interest in Kollywood as the actor is also playing a part in Rajinikanth’s Lingaa.
The grapevine has it that Sudeep has charged Rs 6 crore to be a part of Vijay’s film. Sources claim that Sudeep, who brilliantly played the villain in Tamil film Naan Ee, will be portraying a positive character in the film and his role is given equal importance as Vijay’s role.
Just two days back, the role of Vijay’s lady love went to Hansika’s kitty as Deepika Padukone, still upset with Kochadaiiyaan, had turned down the offer. With signing in big names like Sridevi and Sudeep, Illaya Thalapathy Vijay’s 58th film is grabbing attention even before the first shot being captured.
