Reportedly, Kalpana Lajmi, who is thinking of making a movie based on the life of Bupen Hazarika, wants to cast Pooja to play the role of Bupen. According to a leading daily, Pooja, who will be producing the movie, is also very keep on making her comeback on to the big screen. Bhatt told the daily that she is lured by the respective role in the Lajmi’s project and she is flattered by Lajmi’s desire to cast her onscreen.
Pooja Bhatt’s last venture as an actor was in the film ‘Everybody Says I’m Fine!’, the movie had Rehaan Engineer and Rahul Bose as well. The biopic is based on the love story between Hazarika and Lajmi, who supposedly stayed together for four decades, but never married.
