Film Maker Amol Gupte, the writer of Taare Zameen Par and the director of Stanley Ka Dabba, is now making a film called Hawaa Hawaai, which features film maker Abhishek Kapoor’s girlfriend Pragya. The movie also features Saqib Saleem, Makrand Deshpande, Partho Gupte among others.
Pragya, who was brought up in Sweden, said “I just fell in love with the script and it was completely emotional decision to be part of the film.”
“I am paired opposite Saqib in the film. It’s a small part but an interesting one. We have shot few portions, but the climax scene is left to shoot,” said the debutante.
She was a model who was inspired to act by her boyfriend’s film Kai Po Che. She adds “I was fascinated towards acting when we were crafting the process of ‘Kai Po Che’. Now I am enjoying acting thoroughly and with stars like Makrand Deshpande, Saqib among others, it’s a complete learning experience for me.”
