Shahid Invites Filmmakers
The newlywed couple, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor hosted a party for the filmmakers in Bollywood. Shahid wanted to introduce his wife to his colleagues and some of the biggest names in the industry. Spotted were Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap among others.
Bangistan Release Date Pushed
The release date of Bangistan has been pushed to August 7. The movie starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat was supposed to release on July 31. But due to the Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bahubali hangover, the producers have decided to push the release of the film. The news was shared by Riteish and Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Censors Asks For Cuts From Drishyam
Drishyam, the Bollywood remake of a Malayalam film with the same name, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Sharan and Rajat Kapoor recently went under the knife of the Censor Board. The chairman Pahlaj Nihalani seems clear on this matter and has asked to delete a scene where a woman is slapped by a cop. Apparently there were some dialogues that also had to be edited.
