The Indian cricketer tied the knot with his childhood friend Priyanka Chaudhary last night in New Delhi…
India was eagerly waiting for Suresh Raina ki shaadi (even the hasgtag #rainakishaadi trended on Twitter.) And the wedding ceremony finally took place yesterday at The Leela in New Delhi. It was a hush-hush yet grand affair as many of the cricketing stars attended the ceremony. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, his wife Sakshi Dhoni, Virendra Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Ishant Sharma were among the few who were present at Suresh Raina’s wedding. Anupam Kher, Akhilesh Yadav and Jyotiraditya Scindia also graced the ceremony with their presence. But seemed like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma maintained a safe distance from cameras as they were no where to be found in the weddings pics!
Virat and Anushka were supposed to attend Raina’s wedding as a couple. But the wedding pictures suggest that they didn’t want the media to spot them at the wedding together. But they did attend the ceremony certainly as Virat instagrammed a picture of Raina exchanging rings with his wife and captioned it, “Wish you both a very happy Married life Raina and Priyanka!What a lovely couple! May god bless you both with loads of happiness 
Virat and Anushka were also spotted at the Mumbai airport as they were probably returning from New Delhi after having attended Raina’s wedding. We wonder why these two didn’t want to get clicked at the ceremony together considering that they have no qualms being spotted by shutterbugs otherwise!

The lovebirds faced a lot of public ire after India’s defeat at the World Cup recently and the NH10 actress was even blamed by many ridiculous fans for this defeat! But that should not be stopping them from getting clicked together!
Anyway, we wish Raina and his wife Priyanka a lifetime of happiness!
