Ali Fazal is one of the very few Bollywood actors who managed to cross borders and bag a Hollywood film. Being a cast member of the new Fast and Furious installment, Furious 7, Ali also got a chance to interact and act with late Paul Walker. Paul lost his life to a freak car accident in 2013. He couldn’t complete shooting for Furious 7 but the makers of the action-packed film found a way to make this one into a tribute to the late actor.
In a conversation with BollywoodLife, Ali Fazal told us EXCLUSIVELY what Paul Walker was like. In Ali’s words Paul was ‘one of the finest actors in the team.’ Ali went on to say that he followed Paul’s work and got a chance to interact with him while shooting for Furious 7. Even though Ali didn’t spend a lot of time with Paul, he teared up while shooting for the second schedule of the film as the entire cast and crew around him was extremely emotional about Paul’s demise. Ali said that losing Paul in the middle of such a ‘spectacular’ film as Furious 7 was ‘heart-breaking’.
Paul Walker was like family to the entire Fast and Furious team and even though Ali was a new entrant, he could feel that the rest of the cast and crew of the film was very close to the late actor.
