Salman Khan Said ‘No’ To Endorse Kashmir Tourism. Sources Say He’s Maintaining Low-Profile Till Court Judgement

Why Did Salman Khan Turn Down Offer For Jammu & Kashmir Tourism
Recently, a group of leaders from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) paid a surprise visit to Salman Khan who’s currently in Kashmir, shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. They requested him to promote Jammu & Kashmir tourism as the number of tourists to the Valley has hit an all-time low since the floods. But the superstar, known for his generosity, had to reject the offer. The leaders approached him to spread the word that Jammu & Kashmir is safe for travellers. Reportedly, the actor spent an hour with the members of the party.

Sources say Salman had a reason to turn down the offer. For starters, he is pre-occupied with the court hearing in the hit-n-run case due in the first week of May. He said that he would consider their request only if the court passes the judgment in his favour.

Reportedly, the actor wants to maintain a low-profile till his court date. He won’t sign any new ads, promotions and endorsements until the verdict arrives on May 6.

The actor is on a one and a half month long schedule for Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is set for an Eid release.
