In the film, JF plays the mistress of a murderous pastor. According To Mathew is a thriller based on a controversial pastor accused of killing his wife and her lover.
The actress feels that Bollywood dominates theatres in Sri Lanka. She being a Sri Lankan wants to take an initiative to promote Sri Lankan cinema by doing strong roles that will help change people’s perception to her native cinema.
The actress is one of the most successful Sri Lanka imports in the subcontinent. Her career has finally taken a big leap and she seems to be doing well for herself after her break in Kick. Jacque’s bagged a good number of films post her successful association with Salman Khan and now she is making sure to contribute her bit in promoting her country’s film industry.
