Deepika Padukone’s Vogue Empowerment video directed by Homi Adajania went viral soon after it was out. In the beginning everybody seemed to appreciate Deepika’s new outing before the camera, however soon social commentators and social media watchers pointed out glaring loop holes in this feminist video. Everybody on social media had an opinion about Ms Padukone. While she found support from some quarters she became the favourite punching bag. However Ranbir Kapoor’s father extended his support.
That’s right! Rishi Kapoor was on Twitter asking everybody to take a chill pill. One of the coolest actors on social media, who doesn’t shy from speaking his mind, voicing his opinion on controversies and taking on angry followers, Kapoor Sr appreciated the team’s attempt.

While Ranbir‘s father worded his tweet safely and omitted Deepika‘s name and mentioned Homi Adajania instead, the fact that he did comment on this is commendable. Otherwise knowing our Bollywoodwallahs they would rather play it safe than be sorry. We simply love this Kapoor and we’re sure like us you too think that he’s such a daring darling!
