Dhanush goes back to school

The lanky superstar is currently shooting for his next film at his school

This star is busy shooting for his next film with the team of VIP. First he roped in Amy Jackson for his production and then Dhanush roped in Samantha as well. Popularly known as Dhanush29, this film has been making brisk progress.

The latest is that Dhanush returned to school to shoot for this film. And it was not any school – the star went back to the same school he studied in from kindergarten to 10th grade. Shooting at the school brought back may memories for the star and made him quite emotional too. The DOP for Dhanush29 is his close friend and classmate from school. Dhanush tweeted, “Shootin n d school dat I studied 4m lkg to10 wid my friend (dop team VIP) who was also my classmate #emotional #epic.”

Dhanush got into films after his tenth standard and there has been no looking back for him. Though he initially threw tantrums since he didn’t want to act, he now acknowledges it was the best decision in his life.

Dhanush plays a school student in Dhanush29 and what better tribute to his school than shooting there? Since it’s also summer holidays now, there are no classes being held and the school was available for shoot.
