BMC has demolished the illegal ramp built outside Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat as it inconvenienced the actor’s neighbours. The BMC has now sent a legal notice to Khan asking him to pay the full amount incurred for the demolition. The notice which was sent on March 5 states that SRK has to pay Rs 2 lakh as demolition charges within 7 days of the notice being sent under the Section 489(1) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation act.

A source close to the Raees actor suggests that he will be paying the demolition charges via a cheque soon. A BMC official states that if King Khan fails to pay the demolition charges within 7 days, the amount will be added to his property tax.

The ramp demolition began after BJP MP Poonam Mahajan requested Municipal Commissioner Sitaram Kunte to take legal action against SRK’s illegal ramp which the actor was using to park his vanity van. The BMC initiated the process of tearing down the illegal ramp on February 13 and completed the same within 2 days.

SRK will be paying the demolition charges soon.
