Despite Shahid Kapoor losing out on the Best Actor National Award for Haider, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is ecstatic for him. But this isn’t to do with his professional success.
Vishal, we hear is extremely happy to have read about Shahid’s impending marriage to Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput in the papers.
Our source reveals, “Vishal was a tad disappointed that despite winning five awards, Shahid missed out on the Best Actor award. However, he quickly diverted his attention to Shahid’s plans on settling down. Though he confessed that he hasn’t had the time to speak to Shahid and find out if all that is being written about him is indeed true, he said that he would be very happy if the actor had found a suitable girl and decided to get married to her.”
