In the times when bollywood is making one sports biopic after the other there is one man who we just can’t not make a sports biopic on and that is Kapil Dev. Although there is no biopic as such that is being made on him, it is around the victory of world cup of the 1983 that there is a film being made by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and we know how much of a part Kapil Dev played in it. As everyone’s waiting keenly on the big question as to’who will be playing Kapil Dev?’, comes the rumor that it will be none other than Randeep Hooda!
Although there is no official announcement on this, we definitely love the idea that the tall, dark and handsome Randeep Hooda is the one who will be donning the role of the nation’s favourite cricketer. When he was asked about this, he neither denied it nor did he admit to it.
But we sure hope that there is some truth in this rumor. And after this gets confirmed we really can’t wait to see who else is going to play the rest of the team!
