The swearing in ceremony will be held this evening
The swearing in of Devendra Fadnavis, 44, as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be held at Wankhede Stadium this evening in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prominent celebs like Aamir Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have got invites for attending the swearing in ceremony. However, let us tell you that Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh might not be able to make it to the event as they are out of town.
While SRK has been visiting various cities for the post release promotion of Happy New Year, Aamir on the other hand is in Tokyo to attend the screening of his last film Dhoom 3 at the 27th Tokyo International Film Festival. As for Salman, he is busy wrapping up Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Even Sachin Tendulkar, who was invited for the function, won’t attend it because of his pre-scheduled programmes.
Well well, the swearing in ceremony might not see these celebs, but it surely will be a historic event.
