After a series of quirky posters that have only added grist to the mill, the teaser of Aamir Khan’s PK is finally out. Intentional or unintentional, we can’t say for sure, but we see quite a lot of similarity between Aamir and the iconic British character Mr. Bean.
Is Mr. Perfectionist trying to imitate Mr. Bean?
While everyone’s going gaga over the 2:13 minute teaser, there are a few who couldn’t help but notice an uncanny resemblance between PK and Mr. Bean. For example, Aamir emotes exactly the way Mr Bean does, especially when he wrinkles his face while thinking or communicating through action.
Well, the last time a film tried to imitate a legend, it got mired in controversies. We are talking about Ranbir Kapoor’s Charlie Chaplin act in Barfi!
Let’s stick to PK, though. The story revolves around a stranger in a city whose questions are ridiculously weird – the sort that have never been asked or thought of before. PK’s innocent questioning and curiosity take him on a journey of love and laughter. Disclaimer: He is known simply by his initials.
How much of PK is Mr. Bean, we’ll know only when we see the film. For now, it looks like a guaranteed box-office smash.
