Before sharing the dais with Rajinikanth, Arnie paid a quick visit to Tamil Nadu’s CM Jayalalithaa
The grand music launch of director Shankar’s magnum opus I is about to commence in a short while. And that the makers have left no stones unturned is evident from the fact that Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger has arrived at Chennai to grace the audio launch. While there is a great buzz that Arnold would share stage with superstar Rajinikanth, Arnie made sure that he met Tamilnadu’s CM Jayalalithaa before the event.
Soon after he landed in Chennai, Arnie met Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa at the state secretariat on Monday afternoon. The meeting is said to have lasted for about twenty minutes before the actor left for the audio launch of I. Reports suggest that the former California governor, was keen on meeting the Tamil Nadu CM and his team was quick to send a request to the chief minister’s office.
The grand audio launch event is expected to be attended by famous Kollywood dignitaries like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mani Ratnam, AR Murugadoss, Vijay, Mammootty and Suriya. Tollywood star Rana Dagubatti expressed his disappointment of missing the event as he tweeted,” Won’t be able to make it to the I audio launch this evening because of shoot. Will be missing a huge event. Missing a chance to see the legands on stage @Schwarzenegger and @superstarrajini. Wishing Vikram ,Asscar film and Shankar sir.”
Earlier today, Anjaan star Suriya met Arnie at the airport as he welcomed him to Chennai. We can’t wait to for the event to roll, as AR Rahman is set to perform the songs of I, live on stage in presence of who’s who of Kollywood.
