Parineeti Chopra (Gullu) and Aditya Roy Kapur (Taru) started Day 2 of their Daawat-e-Ishq food yatra heartily tucking into an authentic Gujarati spread at the scenic Vishalla in Ahmedabad. The Daawat-e-Ishq duo was treated to delectable dishes like Bhinda, Puri-Tamatar Aloo, Tuvar Dal, Jalebi, Sukhadi, affectionately packed for Aditya and Parineeti by the hotel management, before they set off to move from Gujarat to Rajasthan.
The culturally rich Pride Amber Vatika in the Pink City, Jaipur, welcomed team Daawat-e-Ishq with a splendid Rajasthani thali. Parineeti couldn’t resist asking for a second helping of dal baati churma and Aditya couldn’t get enough of gatte ki sabzi amongst others. An enjoyable night in the company of folk dancers got more exciting with the presence of singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Javed Ali who joined Aditya and Parineeti for a fun camel ride and a prompt and entertaining game of Antakshari – which saw Team Parineeti and Javed vs Team Aditya and Sunidhi in full action involving the local visitors in the game. Everyone was a winner as the Daawat-e-Ishq night came to an end.
The city of hospitality lived up to its name with a warm send off to the Food Yatra team as they hit the road again!
