Manam quick movie review: Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya manage to engage and enthrall in this reincarnation saga!

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s film finally hits the screens today

Competing with Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan, Manam releases today. Our critic Subramanian Harikumar is watching the film at a theatre right now and he has sent us the first impression of the film.

Subramanian says,” Manam kicks off with the beautiful song Kannulanu Thaake picturised on Naga Chaitanaya and Samantha going through the ups and downs of marriage. Manam starts in late 70′s and is linked to the present with reincarnation angle. The bond which the characters share onscreen feels real and moving. The first half is packed with playful banter between Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya amusing the audience. Samantha plays her part to perfection in both the eras. Manam‘s reincarnation story gives the vibes of English classic Back to the future.Shriya Saran and late legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao are introduced just before interval providing much needed twist to simple story. With soothing yet peppy background score by music director Anoop Rubens and some amazing chemistry between the Nagarjuna-Naga Chaitanya-Samantha has made a Manam an engaging watch till now.”
