This news comes just days after the R&B singer scored her 25th top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100, tying her with Elvis Presley. The 25-year-old, who will also perform at the event, will be recognised for her profound influence over pop music across the world. The Icon Award will be Rihanna’s seventh AMA. The American Music Awards this year is expected to be a star-studded affair. Not only is Miley Cyrus will be performing at the show in L.A. on Nov. 24, but the nominees are all of the biggest names in music!
