What the Fhakri? The journey of Nargis Fhakri

She is one chilled out person. She always comes up with quirky answers to weird and dicey questions. She is gusty, for she is the only one to tell in an interview that “My hips are bigger than my lips”. She has been linked to a dozen of people and she just laughs it off. That is the sexy Nargis Fhakri.

She is a Pakistani American fashion model and Bollywood actress. She started her journey with the small screen where she appeared on the popular TV show “America’s Next Top Model”. She then made her Bollywood debut in 2011 in Imtiaz Ali’s “Rockstar” opposite the heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor. This was a romantic musical drama where she played the female lead role. Ranbir Kapoor falls in love with Nargis’s character in the film. Their relationship is obstructed by her marriage and a series of health problems. She ultimately dies whilst pregnant with his child. This was one of the first films which was a tragedy but a huge hit! Through all this Nargis wasn’t really noticed in the film. She received mixed responses for her performance. Ranbir Kapoor overshadowed her!

She then took a long break and boy she was back with a bang! She received critical acclaim as a British war correspondent in the film “Madras Cafe”. She acted alongside John Abhraham and they film was huge hit!

Well she might be just two films old but she had at least 2 dozen boyfriend as per rumors. She has been linked to many people. Starting from Ranbir Kapoor with whom she made a debut. Then it was Shahid Kapoor with whom there were reports of her having a live-in relationship with. The latest rumors suggest that the lucky man in her life is Uday Chopra. Rumor mills suggest wedding nuptials for the couple very soon. She is seen either laughing these rumors off or just maintaining a silence, whatever it is, she is definitely controversy’s’ favourite child.
