30 years old Imran Khan does a fine job of charming his audience as a romantic hero. Well, there’s a lot more to him than just cute boy-next-door roles that he has portrayed in most of his films.
Imran Khan has established himself as a fine actor after quite a bit of struggle in Bollywood. Often being looked at as Aamir Khan’s nephew, Imran has always had to live upto a lot of expectations. Imran’s debut as a child actor in films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar had made a way for his stardom at a very young age.
He is famous for his roles in films like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na opposite Genilia where he played Jai, a young boy. This film saw his in the role of a cute college going kid. Then, I Hate Luv Stories saw Imran in a very flirty, Casanova avatar. He starred opposite Sonam Kapoor in IHLS. Next came Break Ke Baad, a complete entertainer. Opposite Deepika Padukone, Imran Khan did a fine job establishing a good chemistry all through. He played the role of a simple boy with ambitions. One got to see Imran’s hilarious side in this film. Imran’s next big hit Mere Brother Ki Dulhan saw Imran play the role of Khush Agnihotri who falls in love with his brothers bride. Imran does not fail to make his audience laugh all through. Ek Main Aur Ek Tu also explored his humorous side while he continued to charm his lady (Kareena Kapoor Khan) in the film.
Imran is married to his childhood sweetheart Avantaka Malik. He has done a lot of others roles, some serious and some funny. He also starred in films like Luck, Kidnap, Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola and Delhi Belly (black comedy).
This young man has made a mark for himself in the industry and proved that he is Imran Khan and not just maamu Aamir Khan’s nephew. We look forward to Imran’s upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shraddha Kapoor. Looks like this is going to be another one of his rom-com films.
We wish you luck Imran!!
