Bollywood baddie Salman Khan will reportedly produce the remake of Subhash Ghai’s hit 1983 film Hero. Now this movie will be the first film to be produced by Salman Khan Productions.
A leading online portal quoted Ghai as saying, “Yes, I am very happy that Hero is being remade and Salman Khan and his team will certainly do a good job. The film will be directed by Nikhil Advani and it will go on floors by early 2014.”
This film which will be Salman Khan’s debut production, will also mark the debut of two young actors. Sooraj Pancholi (Aditya Pancholi’s son) and Athiya (Suniel Shetty’s daughter). The movie is scheduled to start shooting early next year.
Incidentally, Hero marked the debut of Jackie Shroff and Meeknakshi Sheshadri.
