New title for John Abraham’s film?

We recently reported that John Abraham’s next venture which was titled Hamara Bajaj, was sued by Bajaj Motors for using their tagline. Bombay High Court then ruled against the film and said the movie can’t use that title.

Now there have been a lot of movies with title issues. Prabhu Deva’s Rambo Rajkumar has been renamed R…Rajkumar and even Ram Leela was involved in some controversy over its title and a subtitle Goliyon ki Raas Leela was added to the title.

Now John’s film, which is directed by Shoojit Sircar, needs a new title. However, the director is not perturbed by it. He says, “It was never a title registered with us. It was on our wish list. So there is no issue. When I actually get down to writing the script, I will think of a title.”

Another source says “After Vicky Donor, John, Shoojit and Ayushmann Khurrana wanted to come together in a film with a quirky title. Since Ayushmann’s character was named Bajaj in the film they hit upon the title. But now it seems a filmmaker has to make sure that his film’s title has no names in it. Rambo and Bajaj have already made their displeasure felt. Who knows who’s next in line?”
