Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: 5 reasons why I’m excited for “the other man’s” entry in Ishita’s life!

We hear YHM is set to see a love triangle between Raman, Ishita and the ‘other man’.’ Pati, patni aur woh? Can’t wait!

BollywoodLife recently broke out the news about Star Plus’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, which is about to see a shocking twist. We informed our viewers that Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita’s track will seen an entry of another man and the story will take the route of a love triangle between him, her and Raman(Karan Patel). Woah! Now isn’t that surprising or what? We received a raving response from the audience, where many of you stated that you so aren’t looking forward to this new twist in the already twisted tale. Well I beg to differ folks. Here are 5 reasons why I’m excited for the “other man’s” entry in Ishita’s life:

Something new

Some masala is desperately needed in this godforsaken thanda show and what better way to do it than add a love triangle? I can imagine Raman fighting the other man for Ishita and that’s gotta be exciting to see!

Actions speak louder than unfulfilled promises

Till now Raman, has proved to be a spineless husband as well as a father. He couldn’t save Ruhi from being taken away by Shagun and he continues to let the latter rule his and Ishita’s life. He has made several promises but has failed to deliver. It is time for a change. Maybe the other man could pucker up the guts and tell Shagun(Anita Hassanandani) to take a hike? He can even act in an instant and get Ruhi back. Now wouldn’t that make the little girl as well as Ishita happy?

Say what she wants to hear

Raman may have swept Ishita off her feet at Holi, but Mr Bhalla has still not told Ishita how he feels about her. Ishita has time and again longed for Raman to say the three magical words but the same STILL hasn’t happened. Maybe the other man would be quick to judge what Ishita wants to hear and will woo her in ways which Raman couldn’t till now! Have you thought about that folks?

Let her go

Now I’m not encouraging Ishita to have an extra marital affair. Instead, I hope her union with Raman ends for good. He has been nothing but a big pain for her to handle at one point or the other. When was the last time Ishita wasn’t miserable because of Raman? I’m sick and tired of Raman messing up at every step and making Ishita unhappy. I hope he lets her go and happily gives her away to the other man, in case she falls in love with him.

Do what needs to be done

I long for the other man’s entry as I believe he probably would do, what needed to be done long back. He would ask Shagun to leave Ishita’s side for good. He would get Mihika back and reunite her with Mihir. He would ask Ashok to f**k off, find another job and make Ishita happy by getting Ruhi back. Could Raman do all these things?

I was all up for Raman and Ishita’s jodi till now. But the makers have stretched the nonsensical drama to an extent which makes me long for the other man’s entry! I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad sign….
