The makers of Welcome To Karachi have come up with the first trailer of the film. Starring the superfunny Arshad Warsi along with the Faltu actor Jackky Bhagnani, this film promises to be another slapstick comedy, but there’s more to it than it meets the eye.
Highlights
-The makers are proudly calling it the dumbest movie of the year, gives you a bit of a hint about what the film is about to show. It seems to be in the league of the Housefulls and the Golmaals. So people who love that genre of comedy would have a blast.
-The film’s plot revolves around two guys who are really dumb. It is because of that, that at some point during the trailer you will start feeling like you are watching a desi version of the Hollywood superhit Dumb And Dumber starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
-There is a song which plays throughout the trailer, and comes out like an extension of Govinda’s song G phad ke from Happy Ending. The lyrics too are a bit similar and therefore you are forced to think that way.
-Arshad Warsi’s antics are funny. However, his screenspace in the trailer seems less.
-Jackky Bhagnani tries pulling off a Gujarati guy but fails miserably at it. His Gujju act seems very forced and therefore you don’t end up laughing as much at his antics as its supposed to be.
