In an interview, she said, “I went for the Mardi Gras carnival in New Orleans nine years ago. It’s a week long, street party, the hottest event of the year in the US. Everyone’s topless in the French Quarter, their faces covered with a mask. DJs play live music and everyone drinks, day and night, for a week.”
