Of late, Vivek Oberoi has been extending a lot of support to improve the condition of underprivileged children and the doting father has been associated with many causes for the same. The actor recently even visited the USA for his association with 'Children Across Borders' , where he managed to raise an approximate Rs. 6.25 crores towards the charitable organization, that paves way for children of the world to a brighter future by providing sustained support in the form of education, health, housing and wellness to underprivileged children.
The actor approached top stars in Bollywood including Hrithik Roshan, Freida Pinto and Vidya Balan to lend their signatures on a guitar, which he later used as a memorabilia that was then auctioned, proceeds of which went towards the organization that is creating and establishing a link between schools in the US and schools in India that lack resources. Talking about approaching his Bollywood friends and colleagues, Vivek said, "It was very kind and generous for them to oblige. I just spoke to them about the cause and the work the organization was doing and they were more than happy to participate in the auction."
Apart from this, the actor also performed live and gave a seminar on opening up a world of information between the two countries and enhancing education and culture at the same time, which together helped in raising a whopping Rs. 6.25 crores for the organization.
