What surprised industry insiders was that the family dinner wasn’t a casual one. From the looks of it seemed like a serious family discussion. After all, why else would Ranbir Kapoor’s grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor attend the dinner?

Mother Neetu Singh, uncle Randhir Kapoor and Katrina’s parents were also seen at the dinner. Ever since Ranbir’s dad Rishi Kapoor spilled the beans to media of his son living in with Katrina Kaif, the couple have shed their reclusiveness and are seen together in public quite often. This got many wondering if Ranbir is finally ready to take his relationship with Katrina to the next level – marriage.
At the venue, the star was seen being a dutiful son to mother Neetu by escorting her to her car. Meanwhile, the smitten lady Katrina was seen patiently waiting for beau Ranbir in their car.
