Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan starrer Katti Batti gets postponed?

Yes, the film which is being directed by Nikhil Advani has been postponed only because of Ms Ranaut. Is trouble brewing between the filmmaker and his lead actress? Read on to know…

Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan will be seen sharing screen space in Nikhil Advani’s next directorial venture Katti Batti which is slated to release on September 15 this year. This is the first time that the curly-haired babe has teamed up with Khan and that’s one reason why everyone including us is super excited about this flick. However, Katti Batti has hit a roadblock. The shooting of the film has been postponed as Kangana has to wrap up her other project Tanu Weds Manu Returns which is slated release on May 29 and is being directed by Anand L Rai.

Initially, the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu was to release in June but the makers recently changed the release date to May 29 which is why the Queen actress now has to solely focus on Aanand L Rai directorial. While talking to a leading daily, Katti Batti director confirmed this piece of information and said, “There was no question but to accommodate the dates and schedule once we were told that Kangana’s other film release was being advanced. It’s a standard practice to help fellow filmmakers and I am sure Anandji would have done the same for me.”

Kangana, on the other hand, is glad that things have worked out and is all praises for Nikhil Advani. She told the same tabloid, “He feels the (Rai’s) film has to do very well and that would benefit Katti Batti as well. He has given all his dates to accommodate our last schedule. We really appreciate the gesture.”

Now that’s the kind of director every actor/actress would want to work with, no?
