Here’s Why Jacqueline Fernandez Agreed To Do An Item Song At Salman Khan’s Behest For Hero Remake

Salman Khan who is producing the remake of 1993’s smash Hero is leaving no stone unturned to make sure the movie is well received by the audience. Recently, he approached his Kick co-star Jacqueline Fernandez to do an item number in the remake. At first, the actress refused – but, later changed her mind. How did this happen? Read on.

Apparently, Jacqueline was already committed to other projects when Salman offered her the film’s promotional item number and so she had to refuse the offer at first. Later, however, when Salman told her that he would ask Sonakshi Sinha to do it, the actress reportedly reworked her shooting schedule to make dates for the film’s item number which will also be used as the main movie anthem for promotions.

A source says, “They had a discussion about the song, but things came to a head since Jacqueline had given her dates to another film. But she worked out her dates to fit in the item song in her schedule just for Salman Khan. Jacqueline has already begun rehearsing for the dance sequence.”
