Going by the figures, Fuirous 7 has got the biggest opening in India as far as Hollywood releases are concerned. A leading trade portal stated, “The business is phenomenal all over with some circuits recording better figures than The Amazing Spiderman and The Amazing Spiderman 2 combined together which were the biggest openers before Fast & Furious 7. The business in Delhi/UP was around 2.25 crore nett which is comfortably more than Roy which is the biggest Hindi film opener.”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! too has been trying to race a tough with Furious 7 at the box office. But up till now, the Dibakar Banerjee directorial has only managed to rake in about Rs 5 crore to its credit.
