For the longest time, Rohit Shetty kept us guessing about the leading lady of his upcoming film Dilwale. Finally, he made the official announcement on his birthday (March 14) that it is none other than Kajol. The filmmaker confirmed that his next venture would star SRK, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Johny Lever and Varun Sharma. And just when we had gotten our heads around such a heavy star-cast, looks like we’re in for a new surprise. Rumour has it that Kajol’s hubby and Rohit’s best buddy Ajay Devgn would be a part of the film.
Unconfirmed reports have hinted that the Singham actor would make a special appearance in Dilwale. This would not be Ajay’s first cameo role this year. He is also expected to make an interesting appearance in Abhishek Kapoor’s Katrina Kaif and Rekha starrer Fitoor.
Rohit’s film shares the same title as the 1994 Ajay-Raveena starrer, which was a blockbuster. Dilwale, which marks the comeback of Kajol as well as the evergreen SRK – Kajoljodi, is becoming more interesting with each passing day. If the cameo is confirmed, this will be the first time that Ajay and SRK would be seen together in a film.
