Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo or Sunny Deol’s Ghayal Once Again: Which film will get cash registers jingling this Diwali?

This Diwali sparks are going to fly at the box office as Dabangg Khan will take on his old buddy Sunny paaji. But whose film will race ahead in the numbers game? Vote and tell us…

Salman Khan has two big releases this year – first one is Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and second one is Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which has Sonam Kapoor in the lead. While the former is releasing during Eid this year, the latter one will come out during Diwali. But it won’t be a solo release. Giving competition to Bhai’s film will be the sequel of Ghayal featuring none other than Sunny Deol. Yes, Ghayal Once Again is slated to hit the screens during Diwali alongside Sooraj Barjatya’s family drama which is touted to be one of the biggest releases of this year. Though festive occasions have proved to be fruitful for filmmakers, whenever two big films have clashed at the box office, they have always ended up affecting each other’s business to an extent. So most trade pundits believe its best to avoid competition at the ticket windows.

However, that won’t be the case with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Ghayal Once Again. While both Salman and Sunny have huge fan following, the latter hasn’t delivered any big hits recently. So things could get tough for him. On the other hand, his film is as big as PRDP so who knows maybe his dhai kilo ka haath would end up playing a spoilsport for Salman starrer. After all, nothing in Bollywood is predictable, right peeps?
