Ronit Roy, Raghu Ram, Karan Kundra, Kritika Kamra support #IndiasDaughter

The government has banned the documentary that should have actually been widely released in theatres

I protest and am glad to see that Indian telly stars think like I do. India’s Daughter is a documentary that delves in to the mind of Nirbhaya aka Jyoti Singh’s rapist and the lawyers who defended these criminals with their head held high. It accounts all the details of what happened on December 16, 2012 from her family, the doctors around her, the NGOs who stood by her, the protesters who were ill-treated and more.

I’ve seen the documentary and it is disturbing to see and hear the mentality of these men. Why is the government banning this video? If they have no shame and remorse in what they did and are willingly ready to recount their actions, then why should the government protect them at all. Let the people know what these monsters think. Here’s what television stars who’ve stood in support of #IndiasDaughter tweeted:

Kishwer S Merchantt: #India #IndiasDaughter and the worst is ‘india’ killed her !!!

Karan Kundra: It’s what they see around them women, mothers, daughters, sisters all being treated like animals! That’s why no remorse #IndiasDaughter

Tanishaa Mukerji: Seems like we care more about what2 eat in our country than we do abt the women, their protection &spreading awareness! #IndiasDaughter #beef

Karan Kundra: #IndiasDaughter Plz watch it before they bring it down!

Ronit Roy: It hurts! It hurts a lot!! #IndiasDaughter

Sophie Choudry: #IndiasDaughter We didn’t have the guts to make it or air it! Im glad #BBC did! The truth hurts & it infuriates me!!

Kritika Kamra: Just finished watching #IndiasDaughter. Clicked on the link again and it’s gone.

Raghu Ram: #IndiasDaughter is online. if u don’t want to watch it, don’t. Don’t stop others who want to. you can’t get offended that the clip is online. Those who choose to watch #IndiasDaughter, take responsibility for your choice. and use the anger you feel watching it to help bring change
