Rumour has it that the Kick star has shown keen interest in the Telugu remake of Neeraj Pandey’s acclaimed film
Known for his mass hero antics, Ravi Teja is a force to reckon with when it comes to commercial cinema. Looks like Mass Maharaja wants to go through an image makeover. A little birdie tells us that Ravi Teja, who is currently shooting for Kick 2, has a special liking for Akshay Kumar-Anupam Kher starrer Special 26, and rumour has it that the actor is being considered for the lead role in the Telugu remake.
It is well known that the remake rights of Neeraj Pandey’s film has been acquired by producer Thiagarajan, and the latest report that is doing rounds is, Ravi Teja and Trisha are being considered to fill in Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal’s shoes. Neeraj Pandey’s A Wednesday has already been remade in Telugu, Eeenadu, with Kamal Haasan in the lead.
With Ravi Teja’s inclusion in the project, this Telugu remake of Special 26 could just get extra special for the fans, as they could get to see Ravi Teja in a new avatar.
