Raveena Tandon, not Vidya Balan should play Benazir Bhutto on screen, say fans!

A biopic on Benazir Bhutto is underway and few days ago we learnt that Raveena Tandon has been approached to play the former Pakistani Prime Minister on screen. However, many of you might not know this that even Vidya Balan was being considered for the role. It is then we conducted a poll asking you out of Raveena and Vidya – who should portray the character of Bhutto, who, as we all know was assassinated in 2007. Well, you have given your verdict.

It was a close fight between the two ladies, but it was ultimately Raveena, who whizzed ahead by acquiring 55% votes. As much as I would have loved to see Vidya as Benazir, but at the same time it will be quite exciting to see Raveena in this role, if she takes it up, of course.

Apparently Raveena had a meeting with the scriptwriter and he narrated the subject to her. She read the script and liked it too. And now with our poll results, she needn’t think anymore and on-board for this project, if she hasn’t already.
