Phew! Sonam Kapoor’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo co-star Salman Khan tests negative for swine flu!

The Kick actor got tested for the virus too, and thankfully the medical reports say ‘negative’

Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor were shooting together for Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Rajkot, but after Sonam got tested positive for the H1N1 virus, the shooting had to stop abruptly. Sonam flew out of Rajkot and she is currently admitted in a hospital in Mumbai where she is getting the required treatment.

Knowing that Salman and Sonam were working in close quarters for the past few days, it was natural for Salman to go for a check-up to be sure that he isn’t infected. He did, and much to the relief of his legion of fans, the Kick actor has tested negative for swine flu.

However, the cast and crew of PRDP is being extra careful on the sets. In fact everyone, including Sooraj and Swara Bhaskar (who plays Salman’s sister in the film) are rehearsing with surgical masks on, which they remove only during the actual shots.

While we hope for Sonam’s speedy recovery, it’s good to hear that Salman is unaffected by the deadly disease.
