Ms Sharma’s maiden production venture has fared decently on Monday and raked in Rs 2.08 crore…
Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam starrer NH10 is going steady at the box office. Directed by Navdeep Singh, the road flick released on Friday and despite rave reviews from the critics it didn’t witness a great opening. However, the Anushka starrer fared well during the evening shows and ended up collecting Rs 3.35 crore on day 1 (Friday). Over the weekend, NH10 did great business and clocked in Rs 4.50 crore and Rs 5.45 crore on day 2 (Saturday) and day 3 (Sunday) respectively. And on Monday too the film did decent business by minting Rs 2.08 crore thus bringing its four total to Rs 15.38 crore.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the updated figures a while back. He wrote on the popular social networking site Twitter, “#NH10 Fri 3.35 cr, Sat 4.50 cr, Sun 5.45 cr, Mon 2.08 cr. Total – 15.38 cr. India biz.”
While NH10 continued to pull in crowd to the cinema halls, on the other hand, Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Badlapur crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic office.
With no big releases this week, NH10 should rake in good moolah in the coming days. As for Badlapur, well, let’s see how far Jr Dhawan’s film goes in the numbers game!
