Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher reunite after 29 years for Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

The two last worked when Neil was 4 years old

Neil Nitin Mukesh is working with Anupam Kher once again after 29 years. He acted with him in Yash Chopra’s Vijay at the age of four as younger Rishi Kapoor and now he is working with him again on Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo after 29 years.

Working with Anupam is even more special for the actor as he was one of those students that was coached by the veteran actor before he made his debut in Bollywood. Talking about it, Neil says, “It was fabulous to work with Anupamji after close to three decades. Working with him is always a memorable experience because of his extensive knowledge of films, thanks to his diverse portfolio. Also, he has done a lot of foreign language films so when you work with him, you get a different perspective. It was nostalgic for me because before I stepped into the industry, I was coached by him. To share screen space with your teacher is an undescribable feeling.”

Starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead, PRDP is slated to release in November this year.
