The Queen director is co-producing the Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer
Vikas Bahl’s Queen is currently the talk of the town courtesy its big win at the 62nd National Awards. It bagged two prestigious titles- ‘Best Film’ for its beautiful narration and ‘Best Actress’ Kangana Ranaut walking away with the trophy. Definitely more than one reasons to celebrate. However, being the co-producer of Phantom Productions, Vikas is further hoping to make it big with Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet.
The film, that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles has been garnering mixed response on its recently released trailer. But Vikas, in his interaction at an open forum assured that Bombay Velvet will certainly be a great film. He said, “The trailer is between good and excellent, that is what the debate is going on. The film is looking amazing and it will be great. We have done all we can and now we can just wait for the results which will be out after 15th May.”
Vikas Bahl also shrugged off rumours that Ranbir Kapoor won’t be promoting BV. He said, “I don’t know from where all these stories have started from.”
