Mani Ratnam’s Ok Kanmani’s music to be out on March 27!

The expectations are sky high from the AR Rahman musical, especially after the unveiling of the single track, Mental Manadhil

After staying away from the limelight for almost two years, Mani Ratnam is preparing his comeback with a breezy love story titled Ok Kanmani. The film starring Dulquar Salman and Nithya Menen, boasts music composed by AR Rahman. A couple of days back, the first single, Mental Manadhil, from the film was revealed and the song has already become a huge hit among the masses. For all those music lovers, who were eagerly awaiting to hear the complete album of Ok Kanmani, I have some great news.

The audio launch of AR Rahman’s musical is slated to happen at March 27. With less than 10 days to go, the countdown to the D-Day has started, when the music will finally hit the stores. Going by the genre of the film, and the kind of music Rahman-Ratnam combo deliver, I expect the album of Ok Kanmani to be hep, urban and hopelessly romantic.

And now that I am hooked to Mental Manadhil, playing it on an infinite loop, I have great expectations from the music of Ok Kanmani. And something tells me that the Mozart of Madras will not disappoint fans.
