We’ve just heard an update about the director’s next pet project
Madhur Bhandarkar has been keeping everything about his upcoming film – Calendar Girls under wraps. He apparently has banned everyone including cast and crew from carrying cell phones and cameras on the sets of the movie.
He is launching five new faces with Calendar Girls . The director has been working on the film for some time now. However, we’ve just learnt that the movie will hit the theaters in June or July. Apparently, the director chose another day for his film so that it does not clash with films like Main Gabbar starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar. He wanted to avoid Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade as well. The original date for the film’s release was decided as May 1, but now it’s been pushed by a month or more.
Calendar Girls will revolve around the life of models who gain fame and popularity after making it on the glamorous calendar. Bhandarkar wants to keep the main leads of his film under wraps until they are closer to the release date.
