Why blame and actor when his role is incompetent? Well, the writers of Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya certainly need to attend creative scripting classes…
Abhi and Pragya’s drama on small screen is one of the top shows. As per the TRP report card Ekta Kapoor’s this show is loved by the audience. We aren’t questioning any of this. However, when it comes to the characters and the show’s plot we are thoroughly disappointed. That the kidnapping twist is going on for long enough is only adding more to our frustration. Getting back to our point, here are three reasons why Abhi cannot be called the ‘hero’ of Kumkum Bhagya…
# A rockstar has gone missing, has been kidnapped and there is no bloody media report that is talking about this high profile kidnapping case! Isn’t it strange? The makers have conveniently ignored the celebrity angle to Abhi’s character. Imagine even when the smallest of public figure is involved in a crime or a criminal situation how the media goes berserk. Clearly either Abhi is a rockstar in his own home or then the production cost of making this scene realistic wasn’t working, or even worse the writers missed this point!
# That he’s scared of night and ghosts is okay, but in every situation Abhi has found Pragya playing the knight in shining armour. This singer might be the only millionaire, who has no bloody work to do. So, while his wifey is helping him around in life his managers and lawyers do not care to find out where is their missing celebrity. Guess they have all received their pay cheques and couldn’t care less if he was alive or dead.
# Abhi is outright stupid! Yes, this rockstar is so dumb that he can be manipulated not once or twice, but each time by his sister Aaliya and good for nothing girlfriend Tanu. The reason he got married to Pragya was to take revenge from her for stealing his dear sister’s boyfriend. Whatta genius!!! Who ruins ones own life to get even with an unimportant enemy? And while he doesn’t love her and wants her out of his life badly, the large-hearted Abhi is living with a woman he hates just for the sake of his Daadi. What’s worse is he’s yet to find out his vicious sisters involvement in the many crimes that she has committed.
We think Purab can be touted as the hero of Kumkum Bhagya, for he’s not just the smarter one, but he also seems to save a situation each time for Pragya and his ladylove Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur). And not to forget he’s the one who has many a times outdone Aaliya (Shikha Singh) and Tanu. What do you think BollywoodLifers?
