Jacqueline Fernandez to star opposite Salman Khan in Karan Johar’s Shuddhi?

Jacqueline Fernandez seems to have become the blue-eyed girl in Bollywood. The Sri Lankan beauty has been making heads turn wherever she goes, including that of filmmakers. According to our sources, Jackie, who has been spotted hanging out with Karan Johar seems to have struck a friendly chord with him. So much so, that the filmmaker has reportedly approached the actress to play the role opposite Salman Khan in his magnum opus Shuddhi.

As you will already know, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were initially supposed to do the film, but the duo soon backed out leaving Johar in a fix. Then there were rumours about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone being a part of this much-talked about project.

But after much back and forth, it was announced that Salman would be playing the lead in this mega budget film but a leading lady is yet to be zeroed in and Jacqueline seems like the most obvious candidate. However, our source also reveals that it was apparently on Salman’s recommendation that KJo approached Jacqueline for the part. Another Kick in the making?
