The Gabbar Is Back hottie seems to be up for the challenge of juggling multiple projects, making me wonder if the doe eyed beauty has taken a cue from Khiladi Kumar himself
Lets take a look at the number of films that each our B-town superstars have starred in 2014. On one hand we have superstars like Shah Rukh Khan (1 film), Salman Khan (2 films) and Aamir Khan (1 film), who do limited films at a time. And on the other hand there is Akshay Kumar who manages to have at least three to four releases every year, usually making more box office profit that any of the Khans. Even in 2015, Akshay has started the year with a bang since Baby did incredible business and has three more films lined up his sleeve.
It seems like milky white beauty, Shruti Haasan, seems to be bitten by the Khiladi Kumar bug as she has six films (that’s right, SIX films) lined up for release this year. Incidentally, Shruti is paired opposite Akshay in the much awaited Gabbar Is Back, releasing on May 1, 2015. Other than Gabbar Is Back, Ms Haasan is also part of Anil Kapoor, John Abraham starrer Welcome Back. The sizzling siren is also starring in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara. Apart from this, Shruti has three more films down South – Puli with Vijay, untitled project with Mahesh Babu and The Intouchables remake with Nagarjuna and Karthi. To add to her hectic schedule this year, Shruti has also been roped to play Ajith’s heroine in his 56th film.
Recently, news broke that Shruti travelled all the way from Pollachi, where she was shooting for Puli, to Mumbai to record a song for Akshay Kumar starrer in just one hour and then made her way back to Pollachi in the same day to resume the shoot of her Tamil film. Such is the dedication of this svelte beauty! While everyone wonders how she manages to juggle her films and find time to interact with fans online, I wonder if the D-Day star has taken a leaf out of Khiladi Kumar’s book on how to manage time when engrossed in multiple projects.
What remains to be seen is if Shruti can match Akshay’s footsteps by finding success on all her filmy ventures. Kudos to the leggy lass for her unflinching determination and acute time management to pull off this mean feat.
