Dippy plays an architect in the film…
Deepika Padukone is bang on when it comes to style. And she seems to be translating all her elegance with Shoojit Sircar’s, Piku. A few snapshots from the film are doing the rounds which not only has Dippy flaunting multiple roles from the film, but also emphasises the beauty in which she switches from one role to another.
Piku, played by Deepika belongs to a simple Bengali family who is the only source of income for her ageing father Amitabh Bachchan in the film. So while on one side we can see her buying grocery just like any other girl next door, the other side has her walking out as an independent woman, working on her own terms. The Bajirao Mastani actress looks stunning there, isn’t it?
We also noticed a few similarities between Ms Padukone’s Piku and Love Aaj Kal avatars from the given pictures. The traditional avatar and her profession ,that of an architect reminds us of Meera from the Saif Ali Khan starrer. But whatever be it, Dippy is totally leading her way with this desi avatar, yet again!
