Farhan Akhtar: There has been no delay in the production of Rock On!! 2

Here’s the latest update on the legal controversy surrounding the Dil Dhadakne Do actor’s upcoming film

A couple of days ago, Abhishek Kapoor, the director of Rock On! moved court to stall the making of the film’s sequel. He has claimed that he hasn’t been credited with the story though he and Pubali Chaudhuri were co-writers on the project. Pubali responded to Abhishek’s copyright issue by writing a letter and expressing that she was shocked by Abhishek’s move. All this had reportedly led to production delays in the making of the sequel, but Farhan Akhtar, producer of the film denies all such reports.

He says, “I am glad that the writer of the film, Pubali has given a public statement. I completely support and stand by her so I don’t want to say anything more than this. Also, people who have worked with us know the truth so that is all that is there to this story. There has been no delay in the production of Rock On!!2.”
